The Y’s Youth Development Afterschool Programs focus on safety, health, social growth and academic enhancement. They are staffed with people who understand the cognitive, physical and social development of kids, the need youth have to feel connected and supports in trying new things, and the caring and reinforcement parents and families need to help each other.

The Y Experience takes afterschool programming and summer camp above and beyond the quality standard using evidenced-based components:

Y-Fit using CATCH curriculum
Social Skills using various curriculum
Literacy Activities
Family Involvement Initiatives
Academic enrichment through homework help and technology

Whether it’s through singing or swimming, through nature hikes or sports, or fashion shows or leadership training, we help them grow as individuals and leaders Y Campers will even sit with a literacy teacher daily to prevent summer learning losses! Includes lunch and weekly activities.
